John’s place was a great stay! The outdoor area is lovely and the hot tub was great! John had great communication, he let us check out at 12 rather than 10 which was very helpful. I would definitely come again!

Absolutely lovely place to stay at. Very family friendly especially for kids. Felt spacious, clean and homey. Also very accommodating hosts who were very thoughtful with leaving a book full of recommendations, milk, juice and cookies.

This place is stunning. You can sit in the kitchen diner and see right up the river, watch the tides and sunsets. We booked this as a special few days for our daughter’s 21st, it was the most perfect location for our family celebration.

We had a very comfortable stay with our 18 month old. John was very responsive and helpful in providing a cot and high chair.
The cottage was lovely and very comfortable and we could easily have stayed longer!

We had the most wonderful weekend playing King and Queen of the castle in this truly unique and beautiful building!
Heading up the driveway we were taken aback by the imposing building at the top of the hill. Arriving at the door we were greeted with a 360 degree view as far as the eye can see!
From the moorland in the distance to the city lights and even the sea, one could spend hours just gazing at the views (and we did!).
Inside the property was a luxurious living area with everything we needed, a comfortable bed and seating area, clean bathroom with bath and shower, and a fully stocked kitchen for us to cater for ourselves.
The crown jewel of the building must be the roof terrace. After ascending the 99 steps you reach the highest point around and can see for miles in the distance! We watched the weather come in from all angles and went stargazing during the night, even seeing a shooting star!
